Here’s a challenge – take $500 of your own money and start a brand-new business. Dave Wertz did just that. Dave is CEO and Lead Developer at Infinity Marketing Solutions, located in Hurricane, WV. “We are a full-service digital marketing agency with a focus on using data driven technology to drive economic growth both in our state and beyond,” Dave says. What began three years ago a web domain, business license, and two pizzas has developed into a reputable business with clients like Blenko Glass and others.
Dave grew up in an entrepreneurial environment and credits his dad’s small pottery business to a lot of the creative drive he has as an adult. He also recalls one of the first programming projects he ever did – a website he developed as part of a NASA crisis simulator. Talk about reaching for the stars.
Infinity Marketing’s road has been full of bumps, and they’re still working through them. In this episode, Dave talks about how he got to the point of being ready to start his own business (after working his way up the corporate ladder at other well-known businesses) and the challenges of being a new-to-the-scene marketing agency.
